Double the Fun!

Couples can be some of the best sessions to shoot. They are always fun and it is really great to see people who are genuine and loving. With so many sad things that happen in todays society, couples are always uplifting and renewing to shoot.
Shayna and Chris were no exception, their a fairly new couple with a great sense of humor. We shot at a railroad track and then ventured downtown to a cool little nook behind some older buildings. Just in time for Valentines Day, I had the pleasure of working with these two.

They were very easy to work with and all the shots came out great! If you are in a relationship, consider having a couples session, it came be alot of fun and always turns out great. I have plenty of new and fresh ideas for future couples, it doesn't have to be near Valentines Day to book a couples session.

The same day I had another amazing shoot with a fabulous one year old baby girl. Ava!! She was a doll, have a peek:

In honor of Ava's first birthday, an extravegant session was in order. Local designer Argie Mitra was onboard and helped in the styling. Ava has a really great family and it shows through her images, she was happy the whole time and did not fuss or cry once! And we put this little girl through alot of outfit changes and prop changes.

I can say it was hard to pick top images and select prints. All her images from the session came out great. Edting was a breeze as the pictures were just great to start with! I sure hope she had a Happy Birthday!!

Sneak a little peek.

It certainly is almost Valentines Day and what better gift to give than the give of pictures. If you are not quite sure if you want to pursue a boudoir shoot, that's fine, there is so much out there than that.
Couples portraits are a great idea too. Get some great and memorable moments captured with your loved one and have them forever.
Solo portraits are also a great idea too, and the can double as a gift for others as well. Everyone can benefit from great portraits!
If you do desire to have a boudoir shoot, do it! There are many great options and packages to choose from and they can remain private if you prefer to have an private online proofing gallery. Most people think that you have to bare all in a session of such stature, not true! Boudoir is about you feeling sexy and nothing else, if wearing something helps achieve that, than that is perfectly okay. Most of the best boudoir sessions are not nude at all!!! Art Walk February

Whoa buddy! It's that time again...ART WALK! This month we will be in Hemming Plaza again, rain or shine, and featuring some new work and medias!
The theme of this Art Walk is performing arts, so we are showing some images of performing artists in our normal slideshow as well as featuring a portrait painter that has begun working with Unobstructed Studios to provide amazing quality portraits to all our clients that desire them.
There will also be a photo area at our booth for all guests to have their picture snapped and uploaded onto the Unobstructed Studios facebook fan page!
And, lastly and most importantly, guests that check in and sign the Unobstructed Guestbook will be entered in a contest to win a free photo session. As always there will be coupons to pick up and people to see.
So, pile up all your friends in the car, come down to art walk and stop by the Unobstructed Studios booth!

Website Makeover

Happy Friday to All!
As you  may or may not know the Unobstructed Studios website has been updated and there is a ton of content that was added! If you or someone you know has had a session with Unobstructed Studios, their images are now on the website in one of the six galleries.
Two new galleries were added! Animals Portraits and a Couples and Engagement gallery. A lot of work was put into the changes and the site looks great make sure to check it out today!
Other new things!
Etsy! Etsy! The Unobstructed Studios Facebook Fan page has added an application that allows anyone to shop for prints on Etsy! a great way to purchase landscapes images and still life's.
Unobstructed Studios is coming to eBay in the near future! As well, we are also offering a boat-load of contests and competitions coming up in the near future.
So, make sure you stay on top off all your Unobstructed news and updates so you don't miss out on any savings!!!

Who's that lady...

This lady? Emily!! A very kind hearted mom and animal lover, someone I have known for years. A great person who has no idea that she is beautiful. I took some pictures of her and archived them due to a overloaded schedule and just recently uncovered them. In the post processing I applied to her images, her eyes actually are three different colors, green, blue and a honey-hazel. Which one is your favorite?

Chasing Caiden

Caiden was my first session of the new year, on the first and he was a little more than I had bargained for! A kid so full of energy he wiped out all the grownups there! He was a very well behaved child he just had a TON of energy! He went non stop for two hours running, climbing, chasing and in tow behind him was a silly photographer :) It was a greatt session and the resulting images came out great! January is starting off as a great month, today was no exception I had a session with Tory! A 21 year old college student with a great smile and free spirit, she was a trooper on the shoot! Meet my cool new friend Connor! A session I shot before Christmas, in the studio. It had been quite a while since I worked with someone under five! But check out a little sneak peek of her session and enjoy!

One thing that is interesting about kids I notice when editing is how much they resemble either their mom or dad and how they can look so much older in some images but not others. I guess its a preview for their parents, to see them age a little each session.
